- Enact funding measures to jumpstart the economy, bring strength, security and transparency to our financial markets, help small businesses and create 5 million new jobs;
- Remove our troops from Iraq in a responsible manner, in consultation with military commanders on the ground, make the Iraqi government more responsible for its own security and have Iraq pay the cost of rebuilding its infrastructure;
- Bring down gasoline and energy prices by increasing our domestic supply of oil, gas and clean coal, expanding conservation, investing in renewable energy research and production, stopping market speculation, and assisting US automakers in retooling for hybrid and more fuel efficient automobile production;
- Ensure access to quality education, affordable health insurance and fair prescription drug benefits for all Americans; and
- Modernize and repair our transportation infrastructure including bridges, roads, levees, and ports to make our country more competitive.
